Plan B: Terraform is a large-scale logistics and terraforming simulation where players transform a lifeless planet into a world capable of supporting expanding cities. The project begins with mining basic resources and constructing industrial chains before eventually altering temperature, water, atmosphere, and the planet’s broader environment.
The map contains an enormous number of hexagonal tiles, allowing transportation networks and industrial regions to spread across large distances. As cities grow, their requirements increase, forcing production and delivery systems to scale with them.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place extractors over deposits and connect them to factories that convert raw materials into increasingly advanced products. Trucks and trains transport these materials between mining areas, industrial sites, depots, and cities.
Delivering the required goods causes cities to expand, while later technologies introduce systems capable of changing planetary conditions. Rising temperature melts ice, water begins flowing into rivers and oceans, vegetation spreads, and atmospheric conditions evolve. The challenge gradually shifts from local production to managing a planet-wide network.
