Puzzle Bobble 2 is a colorful arcade puzzle game where players fire colored bubbles toward clusters hanging from the top of the screen. Matching enough bubbles of the same color makes them disappear, while bubbles disconnected from the main formation fall away for additional points.
The simple rules quickly become more tactical as walls allow bank shots and new rows push the puzzle closer to the bottom of the screen. Bub and Bob from Bubble Bobble return as the recognizable characters surrounding the puzzle action.
How the Gameplay Works
Players aim a launcher and fire one bubble at a time. Connecting three or more bubbles of the same color clears the group, potentially dropping other bubbles attached beneath them.
Shots can bounce from the side walls to reach difficult positions. Puzzle stages have predefined layouts, while competitive play sends additional bubbles toward an opponent when large combinations are cleared.
