About This Game:
101 Ways to Die is a darkly comedic puzzle game where players assist the eccentric Professor Splattunfuder in completing a gruesome recipe book. Instead of protecting the creatures wandering through each laboratory, the objective is to arrange traps and hazards that produce increasingly elaborate accidents.
Every stage provides a different layout and limited collection of devices, forcing players to work out how individual traps can be combined. The intentionally exaggerated violence is presented with cartoon-like humor rather than realistic seriousness.
How the Gameplay Works
Players study each level before placing traps and environmental devices at useful positions. Once the experiment begins, creatures move through the area and interact with whatever arrangement the player has prepared.
The most effective solutions often involve chaining several hazards together rather than using one trap alone. Completing objectives unlocks additional stages and devices, giving players more complicated combinations to experiment with as the professor’s collection grows.
