Q-UP is an unusual competitive strategy game where a coin flip sits at the center of every round. Beneath that intentionally simple foundation is a much larger system of heroes, items, skills, combinations, and corporate satire that transforms random results into opportunities for complex planning.

Eight heroes and hundreds of items and abilities provide a large number of possible setups. Players attempt to construct chains of effects that trigger from one another, turning a basic heads-or-tails result into increasingly elaborate combinations.

How the Gameplay Works
Each round resolves around a coin flip, but players influence what that outcome means by preparing skills, items, and trigger conditions beforehand. Effective setups can cause several abilities to activate in sequence and create powerful interactions.

Competition uses team-based battles, including four-versus-four matches. Players can queue alone, join friends, or face bots while climbing the progression ladder and discovering additional ways to build around the game’s intentionally unpredictable central mechanic.
