Shogun Showdown is a turn-based combat roguelike where every action takes place on a small lane and attacks are queued before being executed. The player must constantly consider position, direction, timing, and enemy intentions.
Runs are built around acquiring and upgrading attack tiles that can be combined into efficient sequences.
How the Gameplay Works
Players step left or right, turn around, queue attacks, and execute them when the timing is favorable. Enemies also telegraph their actions, making planning several moves ahead essential.
Shops, upgrades, new characters, and tougher bosses expand the strategy across repeated runs.
