About This Game:
RiME is a third-person puzzle adventure about a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island dominated by a huge tower. The story is told mostly without dialogue, using architecture, music, color, animals, and environmental changes to guide the journey.

The island contains beaches, ruins, temples, cliffs, and surreal spaces that gradually reveal more about the boy and the meaning behind his surroundings.

How the Gameplay Works
Players run, climb, swim, move objects, activate mechanisms, use light and shadows, and call out to interact with certain objects. A fox companion appears during parts of the journey and helps indicate the way forward.

Puzzles are integrated into exploration rather than presented as separate challenges. The story becomes increasingly symbolic as the player moves through the island’s major regions.
