About This Game:
River City Girls 2 is a side-scrolling beat-’em-up RPG that brings Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, and Riki back to River City alongside additional playable fighters. The group faces a new takeover led by the Sanwakai crime family, sending them across schools, streets, shops, hideouts, and other connected districts.
The sequel expands the first game’s structure with a larger world, more characters, more moves, online cooperative play, and additional side activities. Its colorful pixel art and comedy remain central to the presentation.
How the Gameplay Works
Players punch, kick, launch enemies, perform special moves, use weapons, recruit defeated enemies as assists, and buy food or equipment from shops. Characters gain experience and unlock more combat techniques, allowing longer combo routes as the campaign progresses.
