About This Game:
Rogue Trooper is a third-person tactical shooter based on the 2000 AD comic series. The story takes place on Nu-Earth, a poisoned battlefield where the Norts and Southers continue an endless war in an environment so toxic that ordinary soldiers require protective equipment simply to survive.
Players control Rogue, a genetically engineered infantryman who survives the destruction of his unit and begins hunting the person responsible for the betrayal. His fallen squadmates continue accompanying him as biochips installed into his equipment, allowing Helm, Gunnar, and Bagman to provide useful abilities throughout the mission.
How the Gameplay Works
Rogue can shoot from cover, move between protected positions, climb obstacles, dive away from danger, and use stealth when approaching enemy troops. Gunnar is integrated into Rogue’s rifle, Helm assists through his helmet, and Bagman provides equipment and battlefield support from the backpack.
Salvage collected from defeated enemies can be used to manufacture ammunition and other supplies, reducing dependence on fixed pickups. Players can approach many encounters through direct shooting or quieter tactics, while environmental cover and positioning become especially important when fighting larger Nort forces.
