Star Wolves 3: Civil War is a space strategy RPG set in a galaxy destabilized by political conflict, pirates, mercenaries, and competing military powers. Instead of following a completely linear campaign, the game provides a large interconnected galaxy where mission choices and alliances can influence how the wider story develops.
More than one hundred star systems can be explored, with different missions, characters, ships, and opportunities appearing throughout the journey. The player’s team can be assembled from several pilots who improve their skills over time while operating fighters alongside larger base ships.
How the Gameplay Works
Space battles take place in real time as players command ships, assign targets, position fighters, and make tactical decisions during combat. Different pilots can be recruited and developed with new skills, while ships can be equipped with weapons and technology suited to different combat roles.
The player is free to move around the galaxy and choose which missions to accept instead of progressing only through a fixed chain. Story decisions, optional quests, team composition, and alliances can influence future events and help determine which of several endings is eventually reached.
