Roombo: First Blood is a short stealth-action game where players control a robotic vacuum cleaner defending its home from burglars. Instead of confronting intruders directly, the small household machine uses smart-home devices, environmental traps, and carefully timed attacks to turn an ordinary house into a dangerous obstacle course.
Its unusual premise combines stealth with dark comedy as the vacuum hacks electronics and eliminates intruders before cleaning up the resulting mess. The compact house layout encourages experimentation with different devices and routes during repeated attempts.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move beneath furniture and around rooms while avoiding the sight of burglars. Nearby electronics can be hacked to trigger doors, lights, appliances, and other traps that distract, injure, or eliminate enemies without exposing the vacuum.
After the burglars have been dealt with, the robotic cleaner can remove evidence and restore the house. Higher scores come from using the environment effectively and completing the home-defense sequence with efficient stealth and trap combinations.
