About This Game:
Sacrifice is a fantasy action strategy game where players control a powerful wizard serving one or more competing gods. Five deities represent different philosophies and magical schools, and the player’s decisions about which gods to support determine available missions, spells, creatures, and the direction of the story.
Rather than commanding an army from a distant overhead view, the wizard stands directly on the battlefield. Creatures are summoned nearby and ordered in real time while the player personally casts offensive, defensive, and world-altering spells.
How the Gameplay Works
Players collect souls from defeated creatures and use them to summon new units. Friendly fallen creatures return recoverable souls immediately, while enemy souls generally need to be converted before they can strengthen the army.
Mana powers spells and is restored around controlled Manaliths. Battles revolve around destroying enemy armies, capturing magical territory, and eventually desecrating opposing altars while defending the player’s own sacred locations.
