Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition is a colorful 2D beat-’em-up based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s comic series and its film adaptation. Scott, Ramona, Knives, Stephen Stills, and other familiar characters battle through Toronto on a quest that eventually leads to Ramona’s League of Evil Exes.
The Complete Edition restores the original game together with the Knives Chau Add-On Pack and Wallace Wells DLC. Its pixel-art style, chiptune-influenced soundtrack, RPG progression, and arcade combat give the game a mixture of classic brawler design and character development.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through side-scrolling stages while punching, kicking, throwing enemies, picking up objects, and performing character-specific techniques. Defeating opponents provides experience that allows characters to level up and learn additional abilities.
Up to four players can fight together, making crowd control and cooperative attacks useful during larger encounters. Hidden content, unlockable abilities, character progression, and boss battles against the Evil Exes provide reasons to revisit stages.
