Secret Service: In Harm’s Way is a tactical first-person shooter that places players in charge of security operations involving high-ranking American officials. Missions range from protection assignments to operations connected with a wider terrorist and chemical-weapons threat.
Unlike a completely solo shooter, the player works with other agents and can issue commands to members of the team. Mission preparation and the placement of supporting agents give several scenarios an additional tactical layer before shooting begins.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through missions from a first-person perspective using firearms while protecting important individuals and eliminating threats. Fire-team members can be ordered to attack, defend, or move according to the immediate situation.
Some missions allow static agents to be positioned at useful locations before or during an operation, such as guarding an approach or covering an area as a sniper. Success depends on completing the protection objective rather than simply defeating every enemy.
