Shardpunk: Verminfall is a turn-based tactical survival game set in a steampunk city overrun by rat-like creatures. A small group of survivors attempts to escape through ruined districts while managing injuries, stress, ammunition, equipment, and limited supplies.
The campaign combines squad combat with difficult decisions between encounters. Characters can become exhausted or wounded, and losing someone permanently can force the remaining group to adapt.
How the Gameplay Works
During battles, survivors move between cover positions, fire weapons, use abilities, reload, deploy equipment, and watch enemy approach routes. Overwatch and suppression help control aggressive creatures before they close the distance.
Between missions, the squad rests in shelters, repairs equipment, treats injuries, and chooses what limited resources to spend. Different survivors have unique abilities and personalities that affect how the group performs.
