Shoresy: Legends of the North is an arcade-style hockey RPG based on the Shoresy universe. Players create their own skater and join the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs for an exaggerated adventure involving familiar characters, hard-hitting hockey, and a much stranger threat than a normal championship season.
The campaign sends the Bulldogs on a quest involving the legendary Hockey Godz, mixing sports competition with RPG-style progression and the comedy associated with the series. Fan-favorite characters are also available outside the main story.
How the Gameplay Works
Players control skaters directly during fast hockey matches, moving the puck, taking shots, checking opponents, and creating scoring opportunities. Building an effective player involves improving their abilities as the campaign progresses.
Alongside the RPG campaign, the game supports head-to-head competition using a roster drawn from the Shoresy universe. Its presentation favors quick arcade action over a strictly realistic simulation of professional hockey.
