SKIPCHASER is a story-driven science-fiction action game that combines top-down shooting with procedurally generated bounty missions. Players take the role of a Skipchaser who travels between contracts, hunts dangerous targets, earns rewards, and gradually becomes involved in a larger adventure.

Weapons are a major part of progression and can be assembled from different components. This gives players many possible combinations for changing damage, firing behavior, and other characteristics instead of relying only on completely fixed guns.

How the Gameplay Works
Players move and aim independently during top-down firefights while dealing with enemies across randomized mission environments. Completing contracts provides resources and equipment that can be used to prepare for stronger opponents.
