Sound of Horses is a story-driven horseback adventure built around the relationship between a rider, their horse, and the landscapes they travel through together. Players create their own rider and horse before entering Homeland, an open environment containing characters, personal stories, exploration, and a quiet mystery.
Rather than treating the horse as a simple vehicle, riding forms the heart of the experience. The first episode introduces the world at a relaxed pace while allowing players to explore beyond the most direct route through the story.
How the Gameplay Works
Players travel through open landscapes on horseback, meeting characters and following story objectives scattered through the environment. Exploration provides opportunities to discover additional places and learn more about Homeland outside the central narrative.
Both rider and horse can be created by the player, giving the journey a more personal feel. Story progression and riding are closely connected, with the current opening chapter designed to combine several hours of narrative content with free exploration.
