About This Game:
Tunguska: The Visitation – Final Cut is a top-down survival shooter RPG set inside a dangerous Soviet Exclusion Zone filled with radiation, anomalies, mutants, abandoned settlements, and valuable secrets. Players take the role of a Ghoul Hunter who enters the Zone seeking opportunity while trying to survive its hostile environment and the people and creatures living within it.
Inspired by the atmosphere of works such as Roadside Picnic, the game mixes post-apocalyptic exploration with Cold War-era imagery and supernatural danger. Villages, toxic swamps, underground bunkers, and other locations contain quests, journals, supplies, and pieces of lore connected to the mysterious events surrounding Tunguska.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore from a top-down perspective while choosing between direct combat and stealth. Soviet-era firearms, melee weapons, suppressors, distractions, and ambushes provide several ways to deal with enemies, while careful positioning and the lighting conditions can make avoiding a fight just as useful as winning one.
Survival requires managing food, medicine, radiation exposure, infection, inventory space, and equipment condition. Herbs, animal resources, and mutant body parts can be collected for crafting, while food can be cooked and serums prepared for useful effects. Weapons can also be repaired and upgraded. Character development includes skills and perks that support different builds, while changing weather and a real-time day-and-night cycle affect exploration and combat conditions.
