About This Game:
Star Renegades is a roguelite strategy RPG about a group of heroes fighting against an invading force known as the Imperium across multiple dimensions. A service robot named J5T carries information between realities, helping each new resistance group learn from previous failures and prepare for another attempt to stop the enemy.
The campaign combines tactical battles with procedurally generated enemies, relationships between party members, equipment, and repeated runs. Heroes can develop stronger bonds while traveling together, and those relationships can influence abilities and even create new characters for future resistance efforts.
How the Gameplay Works
Combat is turn based and displays the planned actions of both heroes and enemies on a timeline. Players can use this information to interrupt attacks, delay opponents, protect vulnerable allies, or concentrate damage on a dangerous target before its turn arrives.
The campaign moves through a limited series of planets while the Imperium becomes stronger over time. Defeat eventually ends the current dimension, but information and certain progression elements carry into later attempts, giving players additional options for building a stronger team.
