About This Game:
Stellaris is a science-fiction grand strategy and 4X game where players create or select an interstellar civilization and guide it from its first faster-than-light voyages to galaxy-changing conflicts. Empires can be democratic, imperial, mechanical, spiritual, militaristic, peaceful, corporate, collective, or built around many other combinations of ethics and government.

Procedurally generated galaxies contain alien civilizations, primitive species, ancient empires, anomalies, archaeological discoveries, hostile creatures, and large-scale crises. The result is a campaign structure where diplomacy and exploration can be as important as military conquest.

How the Gameplay Works
Science ships survey star systems and investigate anomalies while construction ships claim territory and build resource stations. Colonies grow into specialized worlds producing energy, minerals, food, research, alloys, consumer goods, and other resources.

Players design warships, build fleets, negotiate treaties, create federations, conduct espionage, fight wars, and participate in the Galactic Community. Technologies and traditions shape long-term development, while late-game crises can threaten every civilization in the galaxy regardless of previous rivalries.
