Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is a standalone expansion that greatly expands the original game’s massive science-fiction warfare. A new extraterrestrial enemy known as the Seraphim enters the conflict, forcing former enemies to cooperate against a threat powerful enough to place humanity itself in danger.
The expansion introduces the Seraphim as an additional playable faction for multiplayer while also adding a large collection of new units to the existing armies. New technology expands land, air, naval, intelligence, defensive, and experimental options across the game’s already enormous battlefields.
How the Gameplay Works
Players construct bases around an Armored Command Unit, maintain mass and energy production, expand across the map, and create armies capable of fighting on land, in the air, and across the sea. Large maps encourage multiple bases, long supply lines, radar coverage, and attacks on several fronts.
More advanced units introduce additional strategic possibilities, including new experimental machines and counter-intelligence options. The campaign centers on resisting the Seraphim invasion, while multiplayer allows the new faction to compete directly against the UEF, Cybran Nation, and Aeon forces.
