Suzerain is a political role-playing game in which players become President Anton Rayne of the fictional nation of Sordland. The country faces economic problems, political division, international pressure, corruption, and demands for reform, forcing the new administration to make difficult decisions throughout its term.
How the Gameplay Works
Players read reports, hold meetings, negotiate with political figures, approve or reject proposals, and choose dialogue responses that shape national policy. Decisions influence the economy, public opinion, political factions, foreign relations, family life, and constitutional reform. There is rarely a perfect solution, and compromises in one area can create problems elsewhere.
