About This Game:
Tails of Iron is a hand-drawn action RPG set in a brutal medieval world inhabited by rats, frogs, and other animals. Players control Redgi, heir to the Rat Throne, after an invading frog army devastates his kingdom and forces him to fight for its restoration.
Despite its storybook appearance, combat is intentionally demanding and rewards careful observation. Different weapons and armor affect how quickly Redgi can attack, dodge, and withstand damage.
How the Gameplay Works
Players watch enemy attack signals, then dodge, block, parry, or counter with melee and ranged weapons. Heavy equipment provides greater protection but increases weight, while lighter gear improves mobility.
Exploration leads through villages, mines, swamps, castles, and other locations containing quests and materials. Upgrades, meals, weapons, armor, and companion assistance gradually prepare Redgi for increasingly dangerous bosses.
