About This Game:
Taur is a science-fiction defense game where players command a powerful central Prime Cannon protecting the planet Taurea from an invading robotic force. The battlefield is viewed from above while automated defensive structures and manually controlled weapon systems work together against incoming armies.

Between battles, resources can be spent developing stronger weapons, defenses, units, and infrastructure. Losing too much territory weakens the overall campaign, so individual battles contribute to a larger strategic struggle rather than existing as completely isolated tower-defense missions.

How the Gameplay Works
Players directly aim and fire the central cannon while surrounding towers automatically engage enemy units within range. Different defensive structures specialize against infantry, armor, air units, shields, and other threats, making a balanced base important.

Resources earned from victories fund technology and construction improvements between engagements. The campaign map presents battles over different regions, with the outcome determining how effectively the invasion is contained over time.
