About This Game:
Terminator: Resistance is a first-person action game set during the future war against Skynet, years after Judgment Day. Players control resistance soldier Jacob Rivers as he becomes involved in operations against machines occupying the ruins of Los Angeles while discovering that Skynet has taken a particular interest in him.

The story draws heavily from the future-war setting established by the first two Terminator films. Destroyed cities, resistance shelters, infiltrator machines, Hunter-Killers, and different Terminator models appear throughout a campaign that combines shooting, exploration, character interaction, and light role-playing systems.

How the Gameplay Works
Jacob uses conventional firearms early in the campaign before gaining access to plasma weapons capable of effectively fighting stronger machines. Enemies can sometimes be avoided through stealth, while hacking skills allow certain computers, turrets, and locked systems to be accessed.

Experience points can be spent on skills related to combat, crafting, stealth, lockpicking, and other abilities. Resources collected from ruined environments can be used for crafting ammunition and useful items. Optional missions and conversations with survivors can influence character relationships and certain outcomes later in the story.
