The Caligula Effect 2 is a JRPG about students trapped inside Redo, a virtual world created by a virtuadoll named Regret to give people an idealized escape from real life. A group known as the Go-Home Club decides to return to reality despite the pain waiting there.
The game focuses heavily on the hidden regrets and identities of party members. Learning why someone entered Redo can change the player’s understanding of their behavior.
