The Lightbringer is a poetic puzzle-platforming adventure set in a once-beautiful world being consumed by a spreading corruption. Guided by the spirit of his sister, the young protagonist sets out to finish the task she could not complete and restore light to the affected lands.
The journey takes players across colorful environments containing ancient structures, natural landscapes, corrupted creatures, and mechanisms that must be restored. The story is delivered with a gentle fantasy tone while the growing corruption provides a darker threat behind the adventure.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore isometric 3D environments while jumping between platforms, moving objects, operating machinery, and solving environmental puzzles. Collecting light and restoring important locations gradually clears corruption and opens the route forward.
Light combat appears alongside exploration, with enemies occasionally blocking progress through an area. Most challenges instead revolve around observing the environment and determining how switches, platforms, objects, and other mechanisms work together.
