About This Game:
The Suicide of Rachel Foster is a first-person narrative mystery set inside an isolated mountain hotel. Nicole returns to the property inherited from her parents intending to inspect and sell it, but a severe snowstorm leaves her trapped inside the empty building.
As Nicole explores the hotel, memories surrounding her family and the death of teenager Rachel Foster begin resurfacing. Her main connection to the outside world is Irving, a FEMA agent communicating through a cellular telephone who helps her investigate events from years earlier.
How the Gameplay Works
Players walk through hotel rooms, maintenance areas, hallways, and hidden spaces while examining objects and following story clues. The experience focuses heavily on environmental exploration and conversation rather than combat.
Irving communicates with Nicole throughout the investigation, while newly discovered information opens additional questions about the Foster family and Rachel. Progress involves revisiting areas as the story develops and interpreting evidence hidden throughout the hotel.
