About This Game:
Colt Canyon is a pixel-art western roguelite where a gunslinger enters a dangerous canyon after bandits kidnap their partner. Procedurally generated areas contain outlaw camps, wild animals, hidden supplies, prisoners, and deadly gunfights that can end a run quickly.
Weapons range from revolvers and rifles to shotguns, bows, and close-range equipment. Ammunition is limited, encouraging players to combine careful shooting with stealth and use rescued companions to increase their chances of surviving deeper into enemy territory.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through top-down environments while aiming and firing manually. Enemies react to sound and sight, allowing some camps to be approached quietly before a fight begins. Empty weapons must be reloaded, and scarce ammunition makes missed shots costly.
Prisoners found during a run can be rescued and may join the player as companions. Weapons, upgrades, and healing supplies are discovered while progressing toward stronger outlaw groups and bosses. Death ends the run, but additional characters and equipment can become available over time.
