About This Game:
Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is a colorful turn-based RPG following Vi, Kabbu, and Leif, three insects who form an exploration team in the kingdom of Bugaria. Their search for the legendary Everlasting Sapling gradually develops into a larger adventure involving rival explorers, dangerous creatures, ancient ruins, and secrets hidden beneath the insect world.
The game combines paper-like visuals with exploration, humor, puzzles, and turn-based combat. Each hero has abilities that function both in battle and while traveling, making the entire team useful beyond simply choosing different attacks.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles use timed button inputs that can increase attack damage or reduce incoming damage. Players can change which hero stands at the front, use items, equip Medals, and spend Teamwork Points on stronger character abilities.
Outside combat, Vi’s boomerang, Kabbu’s strength, and Leif’s ice powers solve environmental puzzles and open new routes. Towns contain quests, shops, minigames, and characters, while optional bosses provide additional challenges for stronger teams.
