About This Game:
Vietcong 2 is a first-person military shooter set during the Vietnam War, with much of the action taking place around the Tet Offensive. The campaign presents intense street fighting and military operations across urban areas and other locations affected by the conflict.
Unlike the heavily jungle-focused environments associated with the first Vietcong, the sequel places greater emphasis on city combat. Players encounter narrow streets, damaged buildings, defensive positions, and indoor firefights where enemies can appear from several directions.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use period firearms while moving through objective-based missions alongside allied soldiers. Combat involves assault rifles, machine guns, pistols, grenades, and other weapons appropriate to the setting, with cover becoming important during large firefights.
