About This Game:
Warlords II is a turn-based fantasy strategy game about conquering a world through armies, cities, heroes, diplomacy, and exploration. Several competing sides begin with their own territories and attempt to capture every important settlement while preventing rival warlords from doing the same.
The sequel expands the original Warlords formula with greater scenario variety, additional customization, diplomacy options, and improved computer opponents. Heroes can explore ruins for powerful items and allies while ordinary military units continue forming the backbone of each empire.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move armies across the world map in turns, capture cities, produce new troops, and defend important routes. Cities can create different unit types, allowing the player to build forces suited to terrain, speed, or direct combat.
Heroes can search ruins, carry artifacts, and lead armies while diplomatic agreements can temporarily change relationships between factions. Victory normally requires eliminating opponents or controlling enough of the world to dominate the remaining powers.
