Warlords Battlecry III combines real-time strategy with persistent role-playing heroes in a fantasy world filled with numerous competing races. Players gather resources, construct bases, recruit armies, and fight large battles while a chosen hero gains levels, equipment, spells, and abilities that remain between missions.
Different races have their own buildings, units, upgrades, and strategic strengths, giving the game substantial variety between factions. Heroes can also be developed through different classes and skill paths to support direct combat, spellcasting, leadership, or economic advantages.
How the Gameplay Works
Workers capture mines and convert them into steady resource income while constructing military and economic buildings. Armies contain infantry, ranged units, cavalry, monsters, spellcasters, siege units, and other race-specific troops.
Heroes participate directly on the battlefield, gaining experience and collecting items while providing bonuses to nearby units. The campaign map offers quests and battles, while skirmish and multiplayer modes allow custom matches between the game’s many factions.
