About This Game:
Wavetale is a third-person action adventure set in the flooded world of Strandville. Players control Sigrid, a young woman who gains the ability to run across the surface of the ocean after forming a mysterious connection with a shadow beneath the water.

Fast movement across waves connects scattered islands where survivors live among flooded ruins. Sigrid’s journey combines exploration, light combat, platforming, and a story involving her family and the strange forces threatening Strandville.

How the Gameplay Works
Sigrid skims across water at high speed, leaps between structures, swings from grapple points, runs along surfaces, and climbs towers. The movement system allows large stretches of ocean to be crossed without relying on a traditional boat.

Combat uses Sigrid’s net against creatures occupying the islands, while quests involve helping local residents and restoring parts of the world. Collectibles and optional conversations provide additional context about Strandville and its inhabitants.
