About This Game:
Unpacking is a relaxed puzzle game that tells a person’s life story through the belongings moved from one home to another. Each chapter presents boxes filled with objects that need to be removed and placed naturally around bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and other living spaces.

There is almost no traditional dialogue. Instead, changing possessions, photographs, furniture, room arrangements, and the amount of personal space available reveal relationships and major events across different stages of the character’s life.

How the Gameplay Works
Players open boxes one object at a time and decide where each item belongs. Most belongings can be positioned freely within appropriate areas, although certain objects must be moved before a chapter can be completed.

Later homes contain more rooms and larger collections of possessions, creating increasingly involved organizational puzzles. There are no timers or scores, allowing each space to be arranged at a comfortable pace.
