Warsim: The Realm of Aslona is a text-based kingdom management game where the player rules Aslona and decides what kind of monarch it will become. The world is presented through ASCII art, menus, written events, and a huge number of procedurally generated factions, visitors, locations, and unusual situations.
The game is built around freedom rather than a single required path. A ruler can focus on diplomacy, trade, war, exploration, gambling, court decisions, strange laws, mercenaries, or ruthless expansion, with many choices producing consequences that reshape the realm.
How the Gameplay Works
Each turn gives access to kingdom systems such as taxation, recruitment, military campaigns, diplomacy, exploration, and the throne room. Visitors may ask for help, offer deals, bring entertainment, demand justice, or create problems that can be handled in several different ways.
Procedurally generated races and kingdoms make campaigns highly unpredictable, while exploration reveals settlements, markets, hidden places, and random encounters. Gold, public opinion, military strength, diplomacy, and internal decisions all contribute to whether Aslona grows into a powerful empire or collapses.
