WE ARE FOOTBALL is a football management simulation focused on building a club over many seasons. Players take responsibility for the first team while also dealing with staff, finances, facilities, supporters, transfers, youth development, training, and other parts of running a professional football organization.
Players and employees are treated as individuals with their own characteristics and development, while the club itself can change substantially over time. Both men’s and women’s football can be managed, providing different starting points for a long managerial career.
How the Gameplay Works
Managers select formations, tactical instructions, lineups, training plans, and squad roles before matches. Results and player performances then influence morale, development, club expectations, and future decisions.
Away from the pitch, players negotiate contracts, search for transfers, work with staff, improve facilities, manage finances, interact with supporters, and plan the club’s long-term direction. A weekly schedule forces different responsibilities to compete for the manager’s limited time.
