About This Game:
White Noise 2 is an asymmetric multiplayer horror game that places a group of investigators against a supernatural creature controlled by another player. Investigators enter dark locations searching for clues while the creature follows them, separates the group, and looks for opportunities to eliminate isolated targets.
The opposing sides have very different objectives and abilities. Investigators rely on teamwork, flashlights, and awareness of their surroundings, while the creature uses supernatural powers and darkness to disrupt the search and create panic among the group.
How the Gameplay Works
Up to four investigators explore the map looking for tapes and other objectives while trying to remain together. Flashlight batteries and sanity must be managed carefully because becoming separated or losing visibility can make an investigator much easier for the creature to attack.
The creature player tracks the team and uses special abilities to interfere with their search. Eliminated investigators can still influence the match in limited ways, keeping players involved after death. Different characters provide varying strengths and abilities on both sides.
