About This Game:
Worms Revolution Gold Edition combines the turn-based artillery warfare of Worms Revolution with its additional downloadable content. Teams of cartoon worms fight across destructible 2D battlefields using an enormous selection of conventional weapons, absurd gadgets, and environmental tricks.
Revolution introduced character classes and dynamic water to the familiar formula. Soldiers, Scouts, Scientists, and Heavy worms have different strengths, giving team composition more strategic importance than in many earlier entries.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move one worm at a time and use weapons such as bazookas, grenades, explosives, and classic Worms equipment to attack opposing teams. Wind, terrain, weapon trajectory, and the limited amount of time available each turn influence every shot.
Water can flow through damaged sections of terrain and create new hazards, while physics objects can move or interact with explosions. Different worm classes and the additional Gold Edition content expand the available customization and tactical possibilities.
