About This Game:
Wingspan is a digital adaptation of the strategy board game about attracting birds to a network of wildlife habitats. Each bird provides its own abilities and scoring opportunities, allowing players to gradually build an engine where actions become stronger as more species are added.
Bird cards are based on real species and include information about their characteristics alongside detailed illustrations and sounds. Competition remains relatively peaceful, with players primarily developing their own habitats while competing for goals and the highest final score.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place birds into forest, grassland, and wetland habitats by spending the required food and eggs. Each habitat is associated with an important action such as gathering food, laying eggs, or drawing additional bird cards.
Playing more birds strengthens the action chain inside that habitat, creating increasingly powerful combinations. Victory points come from birds, eggs, objectives, cached resources, and other scoring opportunities accumulated across the game.
