Wreckfest is a racing and demolition game built around aggressive driving, heavy vehicle damage, and chaotic competition. Body panels bend, wheels can become damaged, and repeated impacts can make a car increasingly difficult to control. How the Gameplay Works
Players control their vehicle from several available camera views and compete in races or demolition events against AI or other players. Demolition events focus more heavily on surviving collisions and damaging other vehicles, with victory often depending on staying mobile while opponents are eliminated.

Cars can be upgraded with performance parts that improve areas such as power, acceleration, handling, and durability. Armor can also be added to make a vehicle stronger in collisions, although the extra weight may reduce its racing performance. Different event types use everything from regular cars to unusual vehicles, while track layouts featuring jumps, intersections, narrow sections, and obstacles create unpredictable crashes throughout each race.
