About This Game:
Yooka-Laylee is a colorful 3D platforming adventure created as a modern tribute to collectible-focused games of the late 1990s. The story follows Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the bat as they attempt to stop Capital B from stealing the world’s books and recover the magical Pagies scattered throughout several worlds.

Each world contains platforming challenges, characters, puzzles, races, transformations, arcade games, collectibles, and hidden areas. Worlds can also be expanded by spending Pagies, revealing additional terrain and activities inside locations players have already visited.

How the Gameplay Works
Players control Yooka and Laylee as a pair, using jumps, rolls, tail attacks, gliding, sonar abilities, and other moves purchased during the adventure. New skills frequently provide solutions to challenges that were inaccessible during an earlier visit.

The main objective is gathering Pagies, but players can also hunt for Quills, health upgrades, special modifiers, and other secrets. Exploration is intentionally open-ended, allowing many objectives within a world to be completed in different orders.
