About This Game:
Zoeti is a turn-based roguelike that combines tactical combat with a deck of ordinary playing cards. Instead of casting abilities directly from cards, the player forms poker hands such as pairs, straights, full houses, and flushes to activate attacks, defenses, and character-specific skills.
The adventure follows Star-Soul heroes fighting creatures born from the remains of a dead god. Different playable characters encourage different strategies, while events, rewards, upgrades, and route choices make each run develop differently.
How the Gameplay Works
During battle, the player draws playing cards and decides which poker combinations to spend on available abilities. Stronger or rarer hands can trigger more powerful skills, so decisions involve both immediate survival and deciding whether to hold cards for a better combination.
Between fights, new abilities can be purchased, earned, or upgraded, allowing builds to develop around particular hand types and effects. Branching paths offer battles, events, rewards, and riskier encounters, with higher difficulties demanding stronger synergy between cards and skills.
