Aliens versus Predator 2 is a science-fiction first-person action game that presents the same conflict through three connected campaigns. Players can become a Colonial Marine, a Predator hunter, or a Xenomorph and experience different parts of the story from dramatically different perspectives.
Each species has its own movement, weapons, senses, and objectives. Marines rely on military equipment and motion trackers, Predators use advanced technology and stealth, while Aliens attack through speed, claws, wall movement, and close-range ambushes.
How the Gameplay Works
Marine missions resemble survival-focused first-person shooting with firearms, limited visibility, and motion-tracker warnings. Predator gameplay emphasizes energy weapons, cloaking, thermal-style vision modes, and hunting individual targets.
Alien missions allow players to climb walls and ceilings while attacking almost entirely at close range. The three campaigns intersect during the larger story, revealing events that another species may only briefly witness.
