Arizona Sunshine 2 is a virtual-reality zombie shooter that continues the desert survival story with a new campaign, expanded weapon interaction, melee combat, and a canine companion named Buddy. The player once again searches for answers while moving through zombie-infested Arizona.
Buddy is more than a story character. He can attack zombies, retrieve items, and provide companionship during exploration.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use pistols, rifles, shotguns, explosives, and melee weapons through physical VR controls, manually reload firearms, search environments for supplies, and command Buddy during combat.
The campaign features larger encounters and more interactive weapons than the first game. Cooperative multiplayer allows two players to complete the story together, while dedicated horde modes focus on surviving large waves of undead. The experience also rewards experimentation because vr zombie shooting does not operate separately from buddy dog companion and manual firearm handling. Different combinations can produce safer, faster, or more efficient results, while melee weapons gives the player another long-term objective to consider. That keeps repeated stages or encounters from feeling exactly the same. The compact design still leaves room to improve because vr zombie shooting and buddy dog companion remain useful throughout, while manual firearm handling gives later stages enough variation to keep the core loop from becoming repetitive.
