About This Game:
Battle Brothers is a turn-based tactical RPG where players lead a mercenary company through a harsh procedurally generated medieval world. Contracts provide opportunities to earn money, but every job can also leave valuable fighters wounded, permanently disabled, or dead. Bandits, undead creatures, beasts, greenskins, and rival forces make traveling between settlements dangerous.

Instead of following a fixed group of heroes, the campaign is shaped around ordinary recruits who gradually develop into experienced mercenaries. Each brother can gain individual skills, injuries, traits, equipment, and battlefield roles, making the loss of a veteran particularly costly.

How the Gameplay Works
Players travel across a strategic world map, visit settlements, recruit soldiers, purchase supplies, and accept contracts. When combat begins, the game switches to a hex-based battlefield where each mercenary can move, attack, use abilities, or take defensive actions during their turn.

Weapons have different strengths against armor, shields, and exposed enemies, while terrain and formation influence battlefield survival. Money is needed for wages, food, tools, and equipment, forcing players to balance expensive improvements against the continuing cost of maintaining the company.
