DOGOS is a science-fiction shoot-’em-up that puts players in control of a heavily armed spacecraft fighting against an invading mechanical force. The game combines traditional arcade shooting with more freedom of movement than a fixed scrolling shooter, allowing players to navigate combat zones while completing mission objectives.
Battles take place across futuristic landscapes filled with enemy aircraft, defensive installations, armored targets, and large bosses. Different weapons and upgrades allow the player’s ship to become more effective as enemy numbers and firepower increase.
How the Gameplay Works
Players freely steer their ship around combat areas while firing primary and secondary weapons at ground and airborne targets. Constant movement is important because enemy projectiles, missiles, and environmental obstacles can quickly overwhelm a stationary aircraft.
