About This Game:
No Umbrellas Allowed is a shop-management and narrative game set in the futuristic city of Ajik City. Players become the manager of a second-hand store and evaluate items brought in by customers, determining their authenticity, condition, history, and value before deciding what price to offer.

Behind the everyday buying and selling is a larger dystopian story involving the city’s unusual social systems and the people living under them. Conversations with customers gradually reveal more about the setting while business decisions affect the player’s finances.

How the Gameplay Works
Customers present antiques, collectibles, electronics, artwork, and other possessions for appraisal. Players inspect each object using available tools, look for identifying details, estimate its value, and negotiate a purchase price.

Purchased objects can later be displayed and sold for profit, making accurate appraisal important. Players must learn to identify replicas and unusual characteristics while balancing fair deals against the need to keep the store financially successful.
