About This Game:
LEGO City Undercover is an open-world LEGO action-adventure starring police officer Chase McCain, who returns to LEGO City to capture escaped criminal Rex Fury. The story parodies police dramas and action films while sending Chase through districts packed with missions, vehicles, collectibles, and comedic side activities.
Unlike many LEGO games, it is built around an original setting rather than a licensed film story. Chase gains several disguises that function like character classes, each providing abilities needed for particular puzzles and areas.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore on foot or commandeer cars, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft. Chase can fight criminals, climb structures, build LEGO objects, scan for clues, and switch disguises to use tools such as crowbars, drills, dynamite, grappling equipment, and other special abilities.
Story missions unlock more of the city and provide access to new disguises. Free exploration contains Super Bricks, character tokens, vehicle unlocks, stunt jumps, police challenges, and many hidden activities, while supported versions include local cooperative play.
