About This Game:
Bionic Commando is a third-person action game that reintroduces Nathan Spencer, a soldier equipped with a powerful mechanical arm. Years after serving his government, Spencer is released from imprisonment when a terrorist attack devastates Ascension City and creates a new crisis requiring his unusual abilities.
The bionic arm defines both movement and combat, allowing Spencer to swing across destroyed city blocks, grab distant objects, pull enemies toward him, and turn parts of the environment into weapons. The ruined city provides large spaces designed around vertical traversal rather than ordinary ground movement.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use the bionic arm to attach to overhead structures and build momentum before swinging across gaps. Correct timing allows Spencer to cover large distances and reach platforms that cannot be accessed through normal jumping.
Combat combines firearms with bionic attacks such as grabbing enemies, throwing heavy objects, and performing powerful close-range moves. Environmental hazards limit some areas, while objectives guide Spencer through the ruins toward enemy-controlled locations and major encounters.
